Volunteering for Global Health: Dani Soria’s Story
Dani Soria, a hardworking World Telehealth Initiative (WTI) volunteer, has always been passionate about global health. “What drew me to WTI was its mission to make healthcare available to everyone, using innovative methods such as telehealth, instead of more conventional ones.” Dani has focused his career on advancing healthcare around the world by working in international medical assistance and telehealth throughout his life. He is currently a Senior Expert Medical Opinion Administrator at Teladoc Health in the UK.
As a volunteer, Dani contributes his knowledge of measurement and evaluation methodologies. He is working with the WTI team to improve tools used to analyze the impact of our programs, such as patient and provider satisfaction surveys. WTI is always striving to improve and refine our work to better support our partners and bring quality healthcare to more people in need.
When asked what motivates him to volunteer, Dani shared that he feels good knowing he is contributing to WTI’s work transforming global healthcare. “My time volunteering with WTI is well invested if it makes a difference in someone’s life…I could not think of a better way to put my experience and knowledge to good use”.
Thank you, Dani! We greatly appreciate your time and expertise working to advance WTI’s mission.
