Michael started his career in the field of minimally invasive surgery, before helping pioneer telemedicine and robotic surgery alongside WTI co-founder, Dr. Yulun Wang. From startup ventures to market disruption, Michael has proven to be a visionary always at the forefront of healthcare's evolution.

After devoting his career to the corporate side of healthcare, Michael is embarking on a new path lead by his desire to give back. Transitioning from the for-profit landscape, he sought an opportunity with a non-profit that is disrupting conventional practices to make a difference through innovation.

Michael has been an active supporter of WTI’s mission since our founding. Now as an official part of the WTI team, Michael spearheads the organization's advancement endeavors. His efforts span a wide spectrum, from engaging health system partners to garnering support from government entities and corporations. His favorite part of the role is hearing from medical experts about how volunteering with WTI has brought back fulfillment and satisfaction in their careers.

With his many accomplishments in the healthcare space, leadership skills and experience driving health innovation, Michael is a wonderful addition to the WTI team. Through Michael’s leadership, WTI continues to stride boldly toward its vision of a world where everyone has access to quality healthcare, no matter where they live.
