Meet Erin Goldfarb: Embarking on a new adventure

Introducing World Telehealth Initiative’s new Chief Development Officer, Erin Goldfarb – fundraising expert, adventure seeker, and certified people-person.

Erin grew up in southern California in a very close family where “giving back was part of their DNA”. She initially planned to pursue a career involving art history, but found a love for non-profit fundraising while working for the foundation at her university. She has worked at various non-profits, focusing on homeless families, children with disabilities, and now global healthcare. “I have learned so much about helping people and working with donors on the best way to help with their donations”. Her fundraising expertise, along with her outgoing, fun, thoughtful, and caring personality, make her an excellent addition to the World Telehealth Initiative team.

“I joined World Telehealth Initiative because I believe that access to health care is a human right. I want to be a tiny part in helping people lead happy and healthy lives.”

As Chief Development Officer, Erin leads World Telehealth Initiative’s development efforts through fundraising, events, foundations, and marketing. The development team enables World Telehealth Initiative to continue expanding our programs and advancing our mission. “My favorite part of my job is hearing how we have helped people all over the world.”

When Erin isn’t working, she is outside hiking and climbing mountains. She recently climbed Mt Whitney in California, a goal she set for herself three years ago.
