Amy Zimmerman was World Telehealth Initiative’s very first volunteer and has remained the most dedicated over the past two years.

During our start-up stage, Amy devoted numerous hours working on legal filing requirements, awareness presentations, and initial grants. She became a true thought-partner and advocate.  She is also a skilled event planner, and has directed all WTI events thus far.

Her endless support and passion over the past two years has helped WTI to grow in order to provide further access to healthcare around the world.

Although she is a “forever friend,” Amy has decided to continue her education by working towards a Masters of Psychology degree at Antioch University. She will earn a Marriage, Family and Child Counseling license to become a certified counselor, which is a perfect fit because she makes everyone she meets feel comfortable with her warmth, empathy and compassion.

We are beyond thankful to Amy, and excited to see her next steps!
