Team Spotlight: Stephanie Boumediene

In December of 2020, we welcomed Stephanie Boumediene to the World Telehealth Initiative team. As our Director of Philanthropy, Stephanie is working with WTI’s generous supporters to promote our mission. Through her development and marketing work, she is also expanding WTI’s visibility to the world.

Stephanie has focused her career on promoting the tenets of public health to improve the quality of life for everyone. She is looking forward to continuing this work as our Director of Philanthropy. “WTI is very respectful in how they approach volunteer and in-country provider partnerships. This thoughtful spirit of collaboration provides a bright vision of the future of global health and truly supports the adage that ‘health is a human right’”.

Stephanie is particularly looking forward to getting to know WTI’s supporters. “Whether it be our compassionate donors or our wonderful providers, I want to make sure they know just how much we value their support”. With a Doctorate in Public Health from UCLA and 20 years of experience in the Public Health sector, Stephanie is an excellent addition to WTI.

When asked what motivates her, Stephanie shares that: “the ability to make the world a better place for those coming next is what motivates me. I have always believed that we each have a responsibility to leave this earth a better place than what we found when we arrived. Working together, we can make a difference; from individuals to communities, through organizations, societies, and cultures for a better future.”
