Jessica stands next to one of our telehealth devices.

This September, Jessica Koval joined the World Telehealth Initiative team as our Program Associate. She will manage daily program operations, train healthcare providers on the use of telehealth devices, and match volunteer providers with clinical needs at our partner facilities.

When asked why she was initially drawn to WTI's mission, Jessica shares that the innovative application of technology is something she wanted to be involved with because, "it is the future of healthcare and has the ability to bring quality care to the most underserved communities around the globe." Jessica is highly passionate about expanding access to healthcare for those in need and combatting health inequities globally. She is particularly dedicated to bettering the lives of women and children through her work, because they are often the most vulnerable.

With a Master's Degree in Public Health and a decade of international health experience, Jessica is a great asset to the WTI team. She has a wide range of professional experiences in global health and corporate social responsibility, as well as work in the clinical environment as a medical assistant. When asked what part of her new position she is most excited about, Jessica shares that she can't wait to develop new partnerships and expand our work; "I am so passionate about WTI's mission, and I look forward to being able to reach even more people in places of need."
